Herb “Mr 4-Speed” McCandless was one of the best and most talented racers in Pro Stock. He was a team driver for Sox and Martin from Burlington, N.C. The Mutt Brothers/Ronald Lyles Team lived in Brooklyn, N.Y. but raced out of Burlington, N.C and Piedmont Dragway was their home track.
